Take-Home Activities: Simple, engaging activities are provided for parents and children to complete at home, promoting continuous learning and fun between classes.
Our classes run Monday to Saturday, with carefully selected schedules for each age group. We place children in small, focused age groups with a maximum 3-month age difference, ensuring every child benefits from activities designed specifically for their developmental stage.
Our pre-primary classes are designed as fun, once-a-week, 50-minute sessions.
Led by a trained Shichida teacher, each session guides children through engaging, learn-through-play activities that support development in a fun, structured way.

Brain training made fun
The Pre-Primary Program is for children aged 5 to 7 years old.
Pre-Primary Classes are a wonderful complement to your child’s education. On top of games that provide whole-brain stimulation, the program also focuses on abilities such as speed reading, auditory processing, mental mathematics, visualisation, mind-mapping and mnemonic devices. These are practical skills that will be useful for school, university and even your child’s passions.
Prerequisite
We are currently accepting enrollments for ages 6 months to 4 and a half years old.
To join the Pre-Primary Program, your child must have previously attended Shichida classes. This stage of the program is where we will further build on the abilities that were taught to the children in their earlier years.

Shichida Early Learning Program for Pre-Primary Kids
Shichida Australia Pre-Primary program is for children aged 5 to 7 years old, who have been previously enrolled in our program.
Pre-Primary classes draw out their innate talents, build on learning and abilities from earlier years and equip them with the strong foundational skills to complement their school curriculum.
Our preschool learning programs are based on the Shichida Method; a world renowned curriculum backed by over 60 years of research into children’s brain development and learning patterns.
The Shichida preschool learning program focuses on abilities such as speed reading, auditory processing, mental mathematics, visualisation, mind-mapping and mnemonic devices. These practical skills are building blocks for success at school, university and beyond.
How Pre-Primary Children Learn
This is a time when advanced abilities emerge. Children aged 5 to 7 begin to confidently take on more complex and challenging tasks while becoming more independent.
In language-rich environments, pre-primary kids are continuously learning new vocabulary and language skills from conversations during activities. It’s normal at this stage for children to begin to lead imaginative play, ask questions of adults and their playmates, and become increasingly more interested in the world around them.
During this period, your child begins to develop or build on their confidence, resilience and self-esteem. Our pre-primary learning program will support your child to develop in each of these important areas.
FAQs: Pre-Primary classes with Shichida Australia
The Pre-Primary Program is the next stage for children aged 5 to 7 who started their Shichida journey before age 4½. It builds on earlier learning with advanced brain training like speed reading, memory techniques, visualisation, and problem-solving – giving your child a powerful edge as they transition into formal schooling.
Only children who enrolled in Shichida before 4 years and 6 months old are eligible. This ensures each student has the necessary foundational skills to benefit from the advanced techniques taught in Pre-Primary.
This stage builds real-world learning tools that aren’t typically taught in schools – like photographic memory, intuition training, speed reading, and mind mapping. It also helps develop strong emotional regulation, resilience, and confidence – key traits for both academic and personal success.
In each session, your child will explore:
- Literacy, fluent reading, topic writing
- Mental math and numeracy
- Box memory and eidetic image recall
- Intuition and visualisation
- Mind-mapping and critical thinking
- Self-esteem and goal-setting through achievement image training
These activities are engaging, age-appropriate, and aligned with your child’s school-age development.
Classes are held once a week for 50 minutes in small group settings. Sessions include a mix of fun games, focused learning, memory training, and relaxation exercises – supporting both IQ and EQ development in a balanced way.
Shichida Pre-Primary gives your child cognitive tools they can apply across subjects at school – like faster reading, better recall, and confident expression. It’s not tutoring or test prep – it’s a foundation for lifelong learning.
Not at all. The program is specifically tailored to children aged 5 to 7 who have already built a strong foundation through earlier Shichida stages. Activities are fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate – with just the right level of challenge to build confidence.
Children who complete Pre-Primary:
- Read faster and more accurately
- Retain more with ease using memory strategies
- Solve problems with critical thinking
- Develop intrinsic motivation and confidence
- Have strong mental math capabilities
- Transition more smoothly into higher academic and social expectations
It’s a launchpad for success – not just at school, but in life.
